The Abundant Internship is designed to help you grow in your faith, discover your God-given strengths, and gain high-capacity ministry experience. Through serving in various ministry areas, participating in leadership development sessions, studying God’s Word, and receiving personal mentorship, you will be equipped to make a greater impact for God’s Kingdom. This experience is designed to challenge and develop you spiritually and as a leader, equipping you to confidently pursue God’s calling in ministry, the marketplace, and every area of life.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I’M QUALIFIED?
The Abundant Internship is a unique leadership and ministry development program for individuals who are passionate about growing in their faith, serving others, and developing their God-given potential. If you love people, have a heart for serving, and are actively attending and serving at Abundant, we encourage you to apply.
Designed for young adults and college-aged individuals, this program provides hands-on ministry experience, leadership development, mentorship, and spiritual growth opportunities.
Because of the intentional nature of the program, space is limited, and admission is highly selective. Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview, and participation in an interview does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
WHAT WILL I DO IN THE INTERNSHIP?
As an Abundant Intern, you will spend 15–20 hours each week serving alongside our church ministry teams. You will participate in one weekly development session (approximately 3 to 3½ hours), designed to foster your personal, spiritual, and leadership growth through intentional investment from our pastors and staff.
Throughout the program, you will receive personal and professional development training, learn to recognize and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in your daily life, study the Bible in depth, develop healthy spiritual disciplines, and deepen your relationship with God.
At Abundant, our goal is to equip and empower you to discover and use your God-given gifts to make an impact for His Kingdom wherever He has called you—at home, at work, in your community, and within the local church.
WHERE WILL I SERVE?
If accepted into the internship, you will serve in a variety of ministry rotations throughout the year. These rotations are designed to provide hands-on experience in different ministry areas, allowing you to learn how various departments operate, participate in church service and special event planning, and gain insight into the day-to-day management of a thriving church campus. Through each rotation, you will develop practical ministry skills, broaden your understanding of church operations, and discover areas where your gifts and passions can best be used to serve God’s Kingdom.

Ministry Commitment:
Ministry & Office Hours Monday through Wednesday, and Sunday services with an Abundant ministry team, as assigned (average 15-20 hours per week)

Tuition & Materials:
The Abundant Internship tuition is $330, with a $150 deposit required upon acceptance to reserve your spot. This investment covers facility fees, drug testing and background checks, intern events, and all required books, materials, and resources designed to support your growth and development throughout the internship year.
